If you want to try out night mode in snapchat right now, here’s how First, update your app: If you don't have version 10.37.0 of snapchat downloaded yet, you'll need to do that first before anything else willwork. It's available for both iOS and Android users alike, so if you haven't updated already then go ahead and do that first thing. This is important because without updating your app you won't be able to use night mode in snapchat at all—so make sure that gets done before moving forward with anything else below! Next: Open your camera: Once your app has been updated, open up your camera like normal until night mode appears as an option underneath Normal on iOS devices or directly under Camera on Android devices.
Navigate the app until you see the gear icon
By default, you should see a white background as soon as youopen up your camera. Select Manage under Dark theme
If you have an iPhone, you’ll need to open up your settingsmenu, then select General > Accessibility > Display Accommodations. Fromthere, turn on Color Filters in order for Snapchat’s night mode to work.Finally, select Manage under Color Filters and then Add Filter. Make sure thatRed-Green is selected from Color Wheel before choosing a color (I chosepurple). Once you’ve selected your color, scroll down and hit Done. You shouldnow be able to see night mode in Snapchat when you go back into your app. Itwill automatically turn off at sunrise and back on at sunset.
